When Christopher Palmer acquired the former You Lucky Dog facility in June 2023, operations had ceased, and the 9,000-square-foot space faced an uncertain future. Drawing on more than a decade of experience with his previous ventures in pet care, Christopher saw an opportunity to transform the dormant property into something extraordinary. Within just two years, his vision and leadership turned Triangle Pet Resort of Raleigh into one of Wake County’s premier luxury pet boarding and daycare destinations.

Situated just minutes from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, the facility underwent a complete renovation. “I wanted a modern, welcoming environment for pets and a great experience for pet parents; the renovations allowed us to create a facility that’s both beautiful and scalable,” Christopher explained. The refreshed space now offers thoughtfully designed boarding accommodations and versatile play areas—indoors and out—that prioritize comfort, safety, and enrichment for every guest.
With a clear vision for sustainable growth, Christopher chose to focus exclusively on boarding and daycare—services that not only deliver exceptional experiences but also align with his goal of building a strong, high-performing business. Under his leadership, Triangle Pet Resort transformed from an idle property into a modern, full-service pet resort that exemplifies operational excellence, sustainability, and long-term success.
